i didn't know it's so hard to find shops selling pirated games for ps2.. Where have all the pirates gone? anyone knows where to buy? so sian.. so fast have to go back to camp already.. but next week is CNY!!! so can come back earlier.. i wanna watch oliver! its a very good musical.. i saw the movie musical before and the songs are not bad.. who wants to go?! hai nothing much to crap about now leh.. should go prepare to book in lah.. cya next week!

hello... i haven't blogged in a loooong time.. about 2 weeks already.. last week didn't have time to blog.. so tired now... had field camp the whole of this week.. never felt so dirty in my life.. haha didn't bathe for 5 straight days.. we only had powder baths everyday, which was just basically applying powder all over your body.. feel like a chinchilla.. haha.. then also didnt eat for the whole week except for some biscuits cos the food rations sucked.. it looked like dog food but i think real dog food tastes a lot better... i have lots of packets left over so can bring for u all to eat.. hahaha.. lucky i never ddg during the field camp. haha.. but my friend who has a third eye saw lots of things.. like legs dangling from the trees etc.. ugh.. hai very tired now.. shall continue later on..and yeah i got a PS2!!!

Hello! I booked out last nite.. so shiok.. cos had to go ocs this morning.. the bloody place looks like a resort lor.. the dining hall looks like a bloody cafe.. from the talk the training sounds quite xiong.. got dunno wad advanced obstacle course etc.. well hope i get into med then can get captain liao.. hahaha.. but i dun think my results will be that good leh.. after that we went to discovery centre for some show about wargames.. looks quite fun.. haha.. then took a long train ride home all the way from boon lay to tampines then went home change and went out again to city hall.. met zhan and ah tong there on their tour of the U2 stores in Singapore.. then after a while we went to siglap for this talk with chorale.. alrite lah i think i will be joining.. but after bmt lor.. or else every sat so tired go there sing.. after the talk we went down to orchard to continue ah tong and zhan's tour of U2 stores.. haha.. saw lots of nice clothes. think i'm going to start new year shopping soon... wah very tired now.. been up since 6.. my eyes closing liao.. nite!

2002 has flown by so quickly.. its been one of the fastest years.. many things happened this year.. some good, some bad.. but its been not too bad a year.. haha but its the ending that sucks.. doing guard duty in Tekong.. how can i be so lucky.. i've never won in any lucky draws i've taken part in and i have to go and win this 'lucky draw'.. oh well.. hope can book out this sat... then can go out and play.. haha hope nothing happens tonight..

Well I'm out again.. on the last day of 2002.. but guess where i'll be counting down? Tekong! argh so pissed.. why am i so 'lucky'.. The guy who was supposed to do guard duty sprained his leg all because the sergeant gave us 5 seconds to get out of the gym.. and this sergeant just said bed 28 replace him! argh.. 28 is supposed to my lucky number and now i have to do guard duty.. urgh.. but look on the bright side.. after doing this guard duty, i don't have to worry about guard duty during CNY or weekends.. hai.. but i already made arrangements to go countdown.. hai never mind lah.. still got many countdowns to come.. hahaha who am i kidding

Sian.. booking in in like 4 hours time.. hai for the first time in so many years i don't have to dread the reopening of school in the new year.. but there's a new thing to dread.. NS.. Some how 28th of march seems so far away.. that's when i POP.. haha.. wish it would come faster..

hoho its my first weekend book out.. gonna book in tonight, stay for one day and then book out again on new year's eve.. kinda dumb if u ask me.. y can't they just let us book in only on new year's day.. what a tiring day today.. went out to orchard and then to my grandmother's house.. we played with matong again today.. haha.. and we had sushi.. haven't eaten that in a long time.. and CHOCOLATES!! haha got my fix just now at Paragon.. i found out i miss a lot of food.. haha.. oh yeah.. i lost my phone a few days ago and so my entire phone book is gone.. the thing is i've always wanted to do a backup copy of my phone book in case a thing like this happens but before i've gotten down to it, i've lost it.. so to all who read this please give me your contact numbers again.. then i got a 7210.. not a bad phone.. but i've yet to fully explore the phone.. wah very tired already.. will blog again later if i have the time..

Hello People I'm Back! without hair.. haha the first 2 weeks of NS went by quite fast.. training has so far been quite okay.. hope it continues that way.. haha.. actually quite excited cos i'm going to start shooting and throwing grenades! haha.. after booking out, i had dinner with my family and then went out for a movie with kiat, gerald, chloe, august, ah tong and wee.. it ended around 1 plus and then we bummed around and had dinner.. haha then we went to august's house and spent the whole nite playing PS.. haha.. but before that, matong, chloe, kiat, august, cang and wee got stuck in the lift.. haha so at 2 something in the morning we had to call the technician down.. haha.. had such a fun time so far that i've forgotten that i've not slept for the past 30 hours! argh i think i shall nap..

hello.. just got back from chalet.. so didn't blog for the ast few days.. yeah yesterday went fish and co for my farewell lunch.. so many people turned up.. quite unexpected.. haha thanks all of you! really had a good time.. then went queensway to walk walk.. haha the thing yiren got for kiat is so funny. After that i went to gerald's house to get VCDs to watch at the chalet then we watched ghost ship at his house.. It was not scary at all! lucky i didn't blow money to go cinema to watch.. but the part where the people on the ship were killed was quite cool.. the rope just slice through all of them.. haha.. gerald's dog is very cute.. i want a dog too! i'll get one next time! get a husky or a retriever.. heh.. how time flies.. first the A's, then Prague then now i'm going in to NS tomorrow.. so I won't be back to blog for some time.. if all goes well, i shall blog again on christmas.. If i get to come out.. haha.. till then.. Ciao!

I'm Back!!

hello! i'm back from Prague! so fast.. this 10 days have passed so quickly.. Missed my computer.. haha.. so here's a blow by blow account of the trip.

Day 1

Took a long plane trip to Finland then to Prague.. sit until my backside pain.. haha.. didn't get much sleep on the plane.. was entertained by xiao hei.. heh.. when we arrived at Prague we were greeted by the cold weather.. so shiok! the temperature was just right and it was the first time i was breathing smoke out of my mouth! haha.. we then went on a city tour around Prague.. the architecture is very very beautiful there.. we then stopped at a taiwan restaurant for lunch.. i wonder whats the point of coming all the way to Prague to eat chinese food when it is available at home and probably tastes better.. one thing i hate when travelling overseas is feeling at home.. if u feel at home when u're overseas, what's the point of going overseas? after lunch, we went to check in to our hotel then nelson told us to sleep to get energy for practice in the evening.. we got an apartment with Gerald, Cang and Weixian and Cang brought his playstation.. haha i can't believe the ancient TV in the room was able to be connected to the playstation. haha so in the end we didn't get much sleep.. haha.. after that was dinner and choir practice.

Day 2

It's the day of the competition and we had a last combined practice in the hotel before heading to the competition venue.. We sang our songs and then heard the other choirs sing.. some of them were quite good.. but those european choirs have a different sound from ours.. and some of them were pretty good.. after that we walked to Wenceslas Square where we changed our money and had dinner before heading back to the cathedral for the opening concert.. We had dinner at a restaurant but the orders took so long to arrive so we had to takeaway.. then we took the metro back to the cathedral. the opening concert was a performance by this group of Gregorian singers.. they were so Whack! the blend was just perfect.. After that we were all so tired and we went back to the hotel for some sleep..

Day 3

We went for a walking tour of the Charles Bridge, Old Town and the Jewish Quarter.. the buildings are so beautiful.. We had to take a tram to the Charles bridge.. it was very crowded and Nelson got pickpocketed.. Those pickpocketers are so skillful lor.. he put his wallet in the inner pocket of his coat and they still managed to take it.. he had about a thousand Sing dollars in there.. We went for the tour around the place, walking till our legs almost broke.. haha.. then in the Jewish quarter we saw this cemetery which was quite small in area, but it held 100,000 bodies!! Some graves had bodies lying in 12 layers.. Amazing.. We then had a shopping break to shop around Old Town Square... Got quite a lot of shops.. then we slied Miss Choo and wandered into the alleys.. haha.. after that we had some common singing which we didn.t have the scores for and we just stood there breathing in second hand smoke.. haha.. we then went to this expo hall for the award ceremony which was quite sian except for this group 'You Screwballs' which was quite funky but became sian after a while when they performed song after song and we were all so tired waiting for the results... when it finally came.. We won the Petr Eben prize!!! Our hardwork finally paid off! and nelson won the Best conductor prize.. What a nice end to the day..

Day 4

We checked out of our hotel Opatov and proceeded to the hotel Juno to check in.. We then went back to Old Town Square for more shopping.. we spent a lot of time there and I think we are all very familiar with the place liao.. haha.. we went for this lunch at this very classy restaurant where their set lunch only cost 199 Crowns.. thats just over S$10! We bought lots of souvenirs and had good eats too.. heh..

Day 5

We took a 2 hour bus ride to the spa town of Karlovy Vary which had hot springs with water that had supposedly medicinal properties.. but to me it tasted funny.. haha.. then we had chinese food for lunch again.. sian.. we did a bit of shopping where i bought wafers that were their products.. and they were quite cheap.. just over S$1 per box.. We then went back to our hotel for a carolling practice.. halfway through the practice, some British people staying in the hotel came in to listen to us.. one thing i love about these foreigners are that they make a very appreiciative audience..

Day 6

We had a tour of prague castle which is the biggest castle in Europe.. It was very majestic and the architecture was very beautiful.. With a mixture of Roman, Baroque and Renaissance architecture.. After that, we walked to guess where? We're back at Old Town Square! haha.. we did more shopping there, and we also walked the whole of Wenceslas Square.. haha... We are so familiar with the place already next time any of you go there can us ask to be your guides.. haha.. We had a folklore show in the evening together with dinner and we were so shocked that the restaurant was the same one we went to for luch the other day.. haha.. it was pretty entertaining.. the guy playing the fiddle was very good..

Day 7

We went for a tour of this town which was used for silver mining long long ago which we had to pay 10 euros for.. it was rather boring.. but the highlight was this church which was furnished with the bones of 40,000 people.. it had this chandelier which was made up of every bone in the human body.. amazing.. after that, we went back to Old Town Square again for some last minute shopping.. at night, we had our P@P, or Prom @ Prague.. the year ones are so thoughtful, cos we missed our Prom in Singapore and they put a lot of effort into it.. Gerald and Yanqing became prom king and queen.. haha it was very funny.. heh.. after that.. we went back to our rooms and then i went over to gerald's room to play some chess.. then gerald went to the toilet to get some water to boil.. as he came out, he say a foot trailing off at his room door which was left open by us.. the funny thing was the foot was headed towards a wall beside the door and when gerald went out to check who it was, no one was there.. when he told us, we thought he was joking.. UNTIL.................................. I was playing chess and out of the corner of my eye, i saw a figure walk across the doorway towards the wall.. I thought i was imagining things.. then i told the rest for fun.. but Jiren said he also saw it! but no one was there outside the door! We were totally freaked out! Luckily it was the last day at the hotel, or i would have moved out immediately.. before this i was skeptical, but now i believe that ghosts do exist..

Day 8

It's the last day.. everything has passed by so quickly.. we checked out of the hotel and headed for the airport.. our flight got delayed because of fog.. i think we breathed out too much mist in the past few days.. haha.. when we finally got to Helsinki, we were 1-2 hours behind schedule and we started our flsh tour of helsink.. haha.. and for the first time in my life i touched SNOW! it was so cool! but we only stopped at each stop for a few minutes.. after that for dinner we had what.. you said it.. chinese food again.. haha.. After that, we went back to the airport for our flight back to Singapore, bringing many beautiful memories and lots of shopping! haha..

Prague Here We Come!!!

Yeah the day is here.. Finally going off to Prague.. Went to play pool today.. after a very long time..not bad lah.. won some lost some.. haha.. wah liew its rainging in Prague hope it will not rain often when we're there.. rather hope that it would snow.. heh.. the closest i've been to snow all my life is ice kacang.. haha.. well, better go check if i left anything out of my luggage.. YAY it's finally OVER! 12 years of formal education has come to an end! But I don't feel as excited as i should be cos I already started playing last week.. Haha.. A chapter of my life has come to a close..
Tomorrow going Prague liao!! So excited.. Wonder if I forgot to buy anything.. I can't believe that we're bringing a playstation and a vcd player there.. Haha afterwards cannot even plug into the TV.. So tired now.. After choir practice.. I think i'm getting old.. Going to sleep lah.. Be back to blog tomorrow before I leave for !

The A's Are OVER!!!!

Well almost over.. just left the physics self design which I cannot study for.. just go in and do.. hope it was like the prelims.. heh.. Today's Physics essay was not bad.. hope it can pull up my structured and MCQ.. Hope to scrape an A.. 2 more days to Prague! so excited.. haha.. Had choir practice today.. so tiring.. not used to it liao.. After that we went Orchard at 8+.. after dinner the shops were all closing liao.. but still had a good time.. seeing the birds in the trees taking pictures.. haha.. This year's light up is MUCH nicer than last year's, which consisted of kitchen roll cardboard tubes hanging from the street lamps.. haha.. So tired now.. gotta burn CDs for some pple then will go to sleep.. nite!

Haha last night very funny.. I was at my Grandmother's house then my little cousin came up to me and asked me:"Eugene kor kor, next time you want to be a doctor or baker?" Then I answered doctor.. Then he replied that he preferred me to be a baker so can always bake cookies for him to eat! Haha he's so cute.. =)

Haha finally went to Orchard today after sooooo long.. The light up is quite nice.. Finally got to buy my lonf sleeve shirt today.. Also wanted to go for the Motorshow today.. Then can go order my Lamborghini so that I can collect it next year just in time to get my licence.. But didn.t get to go in the end.. Haha oh well.. Then we went stadium at taka then Joyce was treating the basket of clothes like a plate of Yu Sheng.. Haha.. Lou ah!! Then she got scolded by an 'employee' of the store.. tsk tsk... Got a new book from the library about murder.. Dun mind being a forensic scientist.. Looks fun leh, watching it on CSI.. Haha..
Christmas is coming! Pity I can't go caroling this year.. Hai...
